United South End Artists, Inc. is a volunteer organization made up of artists who live and work in Boston’s South End.
Annually, USEA works to showcase the work of its member artists in a variety of ways. September 20th and 21st, USEA produced the 22nd Annual South End Open Studios which brought over 9,000 people into the South End to see the work of our 310 member artists. The 2009 South End Open Studios will take place September 19th and 20th.
You are encouraged to visit our website frequently during the year and click on current events to get up to date information on USEA activities as well as those of our indiviual members including the ongoing member exhibits at the South End Library and the USEA Group Show at USES's Harriet Tubman House.
Beginning in the fall of 2008, USEA began sponsoring a series of Forums designed
to provide member artists with useful information as well as an opportunity
to share experiences and knowledge with each other. These will return in the
spring.
