Michele Boshar is most recently recognized for her mixed media collages which incorporate acrylic paint with photographs, torn paper and vintage magazine images. She has been exploring the expression of women over time, oftentimes finding inspiration in a simple word or a phrase from one of her magazines. "I love exploring the female face and figure and the energy and emotion they transmit. I see my reflection in these figures and faces. I find strength in the community of women which surrounds me. I hope that others can look at my work and perhaps see a glimpse of themselves."
