The annual South End Open Studios has been produced by the United South End Artists since 1986. In addition to this annual landmark event, USEA produces happenings throughout the year including exclusive studio tours, networking events, roundtable discussions, gallery talks and more.

The South End Open Studios is held annually on the third weekend of September. This event is free to attend and invites the public into artist studio buildings throughout the neighborhood including the Studios at 46 Waltham Street, Wareham Street Studios, the Studios at 450 Harrison Street, and the Boston Center for the Arts Studios on Tremont Street.
