Nedret Andre is a Boston-based contemporary painter whose abstract work explores the beauty and ecological importance of eelgrass meadows. Informed by collaborations with marine scientists and participation in seagrass restoration projects, her layered paintings capture the movement and interconnected life of coastal ecosystems.

Andre holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and an MFA from Maine College of Art & Design. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is held in private and institutional collections worldwide, including Mount Auburn Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital, Morgan Stanley, and the deCordova Corporate Art Loan Program.

Andre is represented by Sara Nightingale Gallery and works with Ali Gray Gallery, TurningArt and select art and interior-design partners. Her paintings have been featured in Art New England, Artscope Magazine, and IFDA New England.
