Maria lives by the ocean which inspires the color and light in her paintings. She paints intuitively, building layers of expressive marks and brushstrokes that evoke the presence of the landscape.
Maria has shown extensively in the Boston area, North Shore and beyond. Her work is held in private collections throughout the country. She works in her studio on the South End of Boston.
